Zij dienen de blanken met glimlachend geduld.......in afzienbaren tijd kunnen de inlanders de Hollandschen overheersching niet missen.........kleurlingen "Westersch" opvoeden beteekent : den val van de Westersche wereldheerschappij verhaasten.....Azië ontwaakt ? Neen, Europa slaapt in!
    Een rijke toekomst kan men de Nederlandsche Oost-Indische kolonie voorspellen, in geval er over honderd jaar nog koloniën bestaat. Waaraan getwijfeld mag worden." Citaat uit 1933.
